Synopsis

NSW LearnScope 2007 two day showcase, Sydney NSW, 1 & 2 Nov 2007. Drawing together representatives from all 2007 Australian Flexible Learning Framework projects to share their outcomes and insights via a range of conversations and demonstrations.

Sean FitzGerald demonstrated the educational potential of virtual worlds using Second Life as an example. His presentation included a tour of jokaydia - a Second Life island set up by Jo Kay to support educators entering Second Life, the Elearning07 in-world showcase exhibits, and a tour of some of the other educational projects and environments inside the virtual world.
