Students use podcasting and syndicated distribution of audio data particularly music released in MP3 format for re-play in their MP3 players, often without any idea of the process involved in how it arrives on their mobile device.
Many educators are now proposing to use podcasting to reach out to students who would otherwise miss their opportunity to at least hear what was going on in their classrooms when they were absent.
Nathan Burling is one of those educators / administrators who believes podcasting has a place in teaching and learning.
